When it comes to speaking in public, you will find that it can be difficult and the more people there are - the harder it may be for you to concentrate on your presentation.

You will want to give your listeners something to think about and/or something that they can enjoy. You will find that there are a lot of new ways for your to get the  information that you will need.  There are some people who will take information off the Internet and there are some people who will take the demographics of their audience
into consideration. In addition to entertainment, you will want to give audience some things that will make the speech memorable. This means that you may want to include things like animation, humor, and even some pizzazz.

First, you will want to make sure that you get the audience’s attention. This means that you might want to go with the shock factor. This is where you will want to state your whole story and the reason why you are here. However, you have to make sure that you do everything you can to get the audience’s attention and there are many
ways for you can get their attention too. You may want to find out what way to grab their attention is best and appropriate.

Once you have gotten their attention and introduced yourself to the audience, you will want to show them some energy. This means that you will have to learn how to speak with energy and keep the speech informative. You will want to make sure that you slow down for a dramatic point and you will also want to show some excitement about your
speech. If you aren’t into it, how can you expect anyone else to get into your speech? Do everything you can to make a good connection with the audience and keep that
connection. When you notice that you are losing them you will want to do something dramatic to get their attention back.

Consider the structure of your speech and transitions from one key point to the next. Your structure has to make sense. You don’t want to be jumping around. You will want to make sure that each major point is made and then supported with facts and/or statistics. You will also want to use visual aids so that they can get the gist of what you are trying to say.

Make sure that you go out of you way to make the information clear. As with the transitions, you will want to make sure that you learn how to pull your speech together. Again, you don’t want to jump around, but you will want to give your speech in a way that flows. You may want to use words like “first, next, and last” so that you can show them that you are progressing.

It is very important for you - as a public speaker - to learn how to tie everything together and that you learn how to get the audience on your side and keep them on your side.
