Sometimes it pays to review and do some digging - I found a link to this Thirty Day Challenge Action List while browsing through Mike Mindel’s Summaries, Diary, Articles and Tips page from his Thirty Day Challenge.

Thanks to Mike and David and mmoexplorer for their work and for putting it in a place I could find it when I needed it.

Call me “Newbie.”

I’ve seen the word “TrackBack.” I just never really paid much attention and never really tried to figure out how to use them.

Earlier today, it was starting to annoy me - so I did a quick search and found this little gem: “How to use Trackbacks to Promote Your Blog”

See what I did there - that was step one. I started writing my post, mentioned the other blog and included a link back to them.

For the next step, I need to locate the trackback url from their page . . . okay, located, copied and pasted into my TrackBack URLs field.

And now, I’m ready to post. Simple enough - I just hadn’t seen it laid out so simply before.
